What kind of meditation is best? The one that works for you!

In today's wellness culture of mindfulness, media, and the trendiness of eastern techniques, there's a lot of buzz about different modalities of meditation.

Do you practice TM (Transcendental Meditation?) How often do you chant mantras in Sanskrit? Have you tried Kundalini Yoga? Have you been to Vipassana (a 10-day silent residential meditation course?)

If had inner peace for every time I heard one of these inquiries.. we'd have world peace!

There are many different schools and modalities of reaching that quiet place within ourselves, and I have studied many of them.

Whichever breathing, chanting, focusing, listening, walking, or movement practices bring that universal connection, peace and joy for you, that's your thing (at least for now.) Stop searching.

Finding the thing that works for you is relatively easy in relation to practicing it. So please, explore, experiment, and then go deep with your practice. Get consistent. Because that's where the real fun starts.
